Host Program
Rising Professionals members are 35 of the most ambitious and driven students from various fields of study at Purdue. Hosts are characterized by their passion for personal growth and professional development. These students exhibit a strong work ethic, an eagerness to learn, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of their academic and professional lives. The chosen 35 hosts have shown to make the most of their Boilermaker Experience while on campus. They are selected based on their completion and performance in a thorough application and interview process, after which they begin training.
The host experience consists of weekly meetings centered on program preparation and group projects. Rising Professionals hosts a wide range of activities and events that cater to the diverse interests of its members. These include guest speaker sessions, workshops, and networking events, among others. Through these engagements, students have the chance to interact with seasoned professionals, gain valuable insights into different industries, and forge meaningful connections.
